Trip, Fun, Enjoyment!

My well-deserved break has ended with an oversea trip to Phuket and a dive trip to P. Tioman. Tired but fun.

The 4D3N at Phuket trip was simple awesome thou we didnt do as much stuff as we intended to do. It suppose to be an chillax trip anyway. Shortly after we checked into Sea Peal Villa Resort, we head down to patong city for a meal. Had Macca's for lunch and we tried PORK burger for the first time. Took a walk around and head back to the hotel for a night tour to Phuket FantaSea. - A huge theme park with plenty of magical things to see. The live performance was awesome, but i think it can be better if they rearrange the story line a little. A visit to PhiPhi island was planned on Day 2. I snorkel there for the first time and I didnt really like it :(. It was a short visit there and I really love the place. I have had a crazy idea after researching on Thailand a little and i really wants to do a Thailand "road" trip - Singapore to phuket to krabi to BKK. The next 2 days in Phuket was just eat shop eat shop. 

P. Tioman dive trip was great too thou i have been there for the 3rd time. I swear I'm going to dive at other dive site for my next dive trip.

人生。。。

所为人穷心不穷，人生不一定要用金钱来衡量。

我相信只要过得充实你的人生也是有价值呀！

虽然身旁的朋友都是名大学生，但我知道他们在工作上并不开心、快乐。

我常常在想，如果当初没考上初院或进入大学，我的人生又会是怎样的呢？

往往生旁的朋友都会和我们开个玩笑说＂你的学历高，比我们有前途、理想。＂

但很多时候，事实不是想象中的那样美好呀。。

学历、金钱、理想、等又能算什么如果你的生活是平淡或寂寞的！

在此，我希望身旁的每个朋友和家人能够开开心心的度过每一天。

开心，快乐，充实胜过学历与金钱呀！

permanent vs contract job

There's so much to worry as an adult and a secured job is one of the biggest worried most of us have, ever since graduation. I haven been of much luck in job finding, although I was "lucky" to have big firms hiring me but it's always on a contract basis of 6 - 12 months. Contract job does not give ones' a sense of beloning and security, at least to me. Having said that, my contract will be ending soon in 1.5 months time and have not had any renewal opportunity with Olam Intl Ltd. Sigh~

I yearn for a stable permanent employment so I wont have to worry about contract renewal. I hate Job hunting, interviews and/or submitting an essay which i hardly know what should i write due to the lack of industry experience. I hate adapting to new environment too.

On a lighter note, HAVI Global Solution has kindly invited me for an interview session for the position of a packaging specialist. It is not something I specialized, although food and packaging are somehow closely related. Excited, nervous and worried.

Somehow, I'm too comfy with my current role at Olam Intl Ltd too.... :(

Team lunch & farewell

An impromptu company event sent out by the department secretary on Monday morning. What a way to kick start the routine boring week of a "working adult". Good food always bring people together! Thank god i was "properly" dressed on Monday (i usually dress casually even it was against the company rules, the good things about being alone in the lab far away from HQ ). It was really a good lunch-together session with my team which i hardly see them at work. They are really funny and friendly bunch of people and is a pleasure working with them for the past 10 months.  

My colleague and I who sits in the same location cabbed down to HQ before heading off to Fika @ Millennia walk for team lunch. There are too many appealing choices on the menus and i didnt knew what to eat / order (typical me). I had grilled salmon in the end, one of the colleague ordered lobster pasta which looks really pretty and yummy. Thou it was pretty costly ($24 - $43) but it was really noms. During this lunch session, I finally asked one of them if she stayed in the same block as me. and yes, we are neighbour but unfortunately she was leaving for good :(.

Planning a trip

I'm (finally) going on a 4D3N holiday trip to Phuket! Phuket is Thailand's largest island. It is said to be well-known for their beaches and water sport. I hope Patong beach will be as awesome as Surfer's - the perfect sea, wave, sand and sun. Phuket is well known for its humid hot weather so I'm gonna travel light in this trip. Unfortunately, late May is classified as "monsoon" period so i do really wish to have a good vis during my snorkeling trip there.

I will be staying in Sea Peal Villa Resort Deluxe Suite which has a living room with a comfy sofa, en-suite bedroom and a double sized Jacuzzi on the wooden deck terrace. This just sound like a perfect vacation home i wanna get in future.

I'm so excited and i did lots of research on Phuket like the activities, food, tourist attraction, etc. I have shortlist the activities and places to visit which include Phi Phi and Maya island, an AVT and elephant trekking tour, Phuket fantasea, Phuket weekends (night) market and City tour. Would definitely blog more about the trip there or / when i return.

Cant wait for this holiday retreat and bday get-a-way. In 2011 i celebrated my bday at the top a mountain (Mt cootha) in a sweater and short during winter with a cake and flat white. In 2012 I celebrated with the best group of friends i will ever have with a memorable birthday cake lighted with candle that won't goes off . and In 2013 I'm gonna celebrate it with lots of sea creature and ....

Too bored, Start blogging

Hi there! I shall start blogging about random stuff that will be / is happening and/or happened since I am (slightly) bored at work. Well, since this is my first post, I shall start with an introduction. My name is Hazeline and I am currently working as a Food Technologist at Olam International Ltd. This is a contract job and the team will decide if I get to stay or leave after 1 year (I am already in my ~9th month of contract term, 3 month to go). I love eating yummy food (who don't?) but i cant eat much thou and exploring food recipe (maybe that why i chose to stay in the food industry even thou i think there aren't much prospect). I like snapping picture and would like to explore around Singapore ( 2013 resolution but always too lazy to travel around) like a tourist. So, this will be my 1st entry and will keep blogging until i get tired again.
